On two occasions in the past I have lost hundreds of dollars getting glasses ordered through an optometrist who used an off premises lab. On both occasions, they were never able to get the prescription right for my left eye. For most of my life I have worn contact lenses but at this point in my life I wanted glasses for driving and such things as TV watching so I don’t have to wear contacts 16 hours a day.”
